The story of Holden's LJ V8 XU-1 Torana will forever be shrouded in Australian classic car mystery.

Designed by Holden to win the Hardie-Ferodo Bathurst 500 race, project XW7 as it was known by Holden engineers met a tragic end.

In 1972 it is alleged that Holden instructed all XW7 project cars to be destroyed. Remarkably, two XW7 cars survived the cull.

This model represents a surviving Lone O' Ranger prototype XW7 which became the property of legendary Holden race car driver Peter Brock. Tragically this car was stolen in 1985 and has never been recovered.
