The Bristol Beaufighter was a very adept long range heavy fighter for the allies having flown in both European and Pacific theatres of world war two.

A new more powerful engine, the Hercules Mk XVII, was installed in the Beaufort Mk VIC airframe to produce the TF Mk.X (Torpedo Fighter), commonly known as the 'Torbeau'. The Mk X became the main production mark of the Beaufighter. The Beaufighter TF.X would make precision attacks on shipping at wave-top height with torpedoes or rockets.

This model of a Beaufighter TF.X is in the classic Coastal Command camouflage scheme with invasion stripes.

Bristol Beaufighter NE775 was flown by pilots of 455 Squadron. 455 Squadronwas a Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) torpedo bomber squadron that together made upthe "Anzac Strike Wing" with 489 Squardron of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
